What an Impactful Sunday!
We had the joy of dedicating nine beautiful children to the Lord and charging parents to raise them in the training and admonition of the Lord (Eph. 6:4). It’s one of my favorite Sundays of the year. If you haven’t seen the pictures yet, check them out on Facebook and Instagram. I love seeing a church that is growing both in the Dome and in the nursery. It’s the sign of a healthy church!
It was also a record-breaking Sunday for September, with many new families and students in the house. We are experiencing a sobering national moment in the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Many are turning to Jesus. What the enemy meant for evil, God is using for good for those who love Him (Rom. 8:28). Keep praying for our nation!
Thank you as well for the thoughtful feedback on Sunday’s message: The Church and Israel. I’ve appreciated both the encouragement and the honest questions. Remember, our pro-Israel stance is not about politics but about Scripture. At the heart of it:
• Our story of faith begins in Israel (Rom. 9:4–5).
• God’s covenant purposes remain. His people are not rejected or replaced (Rom. 11:1–2, 28–29).
• We hold hope that Israel will one day come to see Jesus as Messiah (Rom. 11:26).
• History culminates in Jerusalem at the return of Christ (Zech.14; Rev. 21).
Our posture is one of gratitude and honor, not idolization.
This Sunday we conclude our Hot Takes series with the most requested take of them all: The Church and Politics.
How relevant this is for the moment we are walking through as a nation. On Sunday, I’ll tackle the question: Has America reached a turning point? We’ll open Scripture and talk about a Jesus-focused response that is both courageous and full of conviction.
Come this Sunday with a hungry heart. I believe the Lord is moving in our nation, an answer to years of prayer. Let’s keep our eyes on Jesus and run after Him with everything we’ve got.
See you Sunday at 10am—bring a friend!
Believing for Revival,
