Summer Fire is Heating Up!
What an incredible week it has been at Grace World!
This past Sunday, we launched Summer Fire with my good friend Joel Stockstill, and what a powerful beginning it was. At the same time, 160 students and leaders kicked off City Week, spending the week pursuing encounters with Jesus while serving our community in practical ways.
Last night we combined our Midweek service with City Week, and the room was filled with God’s presence. Our students have been inviting families throughout the community all week, and we are already seeing the fruit. I watched as a mother and her daughters responded to the altar to give their lives to Christ. That’s an immediate harvest.
This is revival.
I’m hearing testimony after testimony of salvations, deliverance, and people being baptized in the Holy Spirit. There is a genuine hunger for God, and He is faithfully meeting people as they seek Him.
This Sunday, we are honored to welcome Pastor Jakob and Leah Barrientos from Trinity Church in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Jacob is an evangelist and church planter who has planted churches in both Illinois and Hawaii before joining the team at Trinity. I believe this Sunday is going to be another significant moment in what God is doing in our church.
I know summer brings vacations, family activities, and full calendars. But let me encourage you to make room for the presence of God. Throughout Scripture, we see the same principle. When we draw near to Him, He draws near to us. God always honors hunger because it is the one thing He asks us to bring. When we come hungry, He promises to satisfy.
Please continue praying as tonight marks the final night of City Week. I cannot wait to share many of the incredible stories of what God has done when we gather together this Sunday.
See you this weekend!
