Student Take Over Sunday!

Hey, Grace World! This Sunday is Student Takeover Sunday! And yes…it’s exactly what it sounds like. The students are taking over the service.

My dad thought it would be cool to let me take over his weekly email too.

Student Takeover is one of my favorite Sundays of the year because you get to see what God is doing in ASCEND. Students will be greeting, leading worship, serving, preaching, and helping run almost every part of the service.

It’s also a chance for students to step up to be the leaders God is calling them to become. Don’t think of it as us taking your jobs one day. Think of it as us carrying on your legacy.

Ascend is also getting ready for City Week, taking place July 20-24. It is our biggest week of the summer. We’ll spend the week serving our city, going door to door, sharing Jesus, leading services every night, and having a ton of fun together. Student Takeover is just a preview of what’s coming.

We’ve been practicing, preparing, and praying for this Sunday for a long time, and we can’t wait to share it with you.

So don’t miss it.

Come ready to cheer us on, worship with us, and believe that God can use the next generation in a big way.
