21 Days of Prayer and Fasting | Rekindled

Grace World,

This Sunday, we will be starting a brand new series on the book of Acts entitled, “Rekindled.” Acts 1:4 says, “And while stayingwith them he ordered them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the promise of the Father, which, he said, “you heard from me;for John baptized with water, but you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.” The early church began with an expectation and anticipation of what God was going to do. In a season of pandemic, economic crisis, division whether it be political, racial, or generationally in our families and churches; can we come together and believe for a fresh baptism of fire? It is time for the church to come back to our roots and fire like that of the early church. Come this Sunday, with an expectation asking the question, “what is God going to do today?”

Starting on Monday, I will be challenging our church to begin a season of 21 days of fasting and prayer. We desire to see the back of Covid-19 broken but also that the heavens would be opened and the Spirit of God poured out on all flesh. May the revenge of this season be revival! Over the last several months we have joined with churches across the world united in prayer. This week’s Unite 714 prayer is especially relevant to us as a church, as a nation and what we need at this moment. You can view the prayer here.

Our church doors remain open. We believe in the importance of gathering together as the Ekklesia but also know that there are those of you who are still unable to join us physically, and we understand. That’s why we have multiple ways you can connect with your church:

Sunday mornings:

  • 10am in the Dome (sitting with your family with enough space to social distance)
  • Live from the Dome into your home on our website, Facebook or Youtube
  • FM broadcast available in the parking lot by tuning in to 102.7
  • Grace Kids & *Grace Kids Jr
*pre-registration is required for Grace Kids Jr, click hereto register

Wednesday nights:

  • Dangerous Prayers class anchored by our pastoral staff in the Dome
  • Ascend Student Ministries*
  • Grace Kids*
*safety protocols in place along with temperature checks

Covid-19 continues to spread in our county. Please continue to show honor to one another and our community by remaining community conscious and taking personal responsibility for each others well being.  This means:

  • Making sure you are healthy
  • Taking your temperature before leaving the house
  • Practicing good hygiene by washing your hands
  • Practicing social distancing
  • Wearing a face covering when entering and exiting the building and when you are unable to maintain six feet of distance

I am looking forward to seeing you this Sunday whether it is in the Dome or from your home. Come with expectation and in anticipation of what God is going to do! We love you and remember, there’s no place like Grace!

Better Together,

Pastor Daniel
