Pastor Appreciation Sunday

Can you help me with something?

This Sunday is Pastor Appreciation Sunday, and our church family is incredibly blessed to be served by an amazing team of leaders who consistently go above and beyond the call of duty.

I want to take a moment to recognize them.

Pastor Jacob and Jeverna serve the youngest members of our church family, providing a safe, Spirit-filled, and fun environment for more than 160 children every week. They are helping lay a foundation of faith in the next generation.

Pastor Chris and Analysa Fullam have built an incredible student and young adult ministry that not only reaches 180 students every Wednesday night but also equips and deploys them as leaders throughout the week. They are raising up a generation that is making a difference!

Pastor Sam and Amber Lopez oversee our K–12 Christian school, bringing a pastoral heart and spiritual perspective into the academic environment. Under their leadership, our school is growing rapidly, and students are being equipped academically and spiritually to become tomorrow’s leaders.

Pastor Sarah Brosher is the newest member of our pastoral team, but in this last year has made a mark in the atmosphere of our church by leading Grace Worship. There’s a new sound that has moved from water to oil and a new depth that we all feel within the sanctuary. We are all incredibly blessed by her leadership.

Pastor Donnie and Cindy Lewis are there for people walking through life’s most difficult moments or simply needing comfort, prayer, and encouragement. And if you’re new to Grace, there’s a good chance Pastor Donnie was one of the first people to make you feel at home.

Pastor Debbie and Vance Milton help anchor our teaching and discipleship ministries. From weekly classes and Grace Groups to our SEU college cohort, they are helping people grow deeper in their walk with Christ and discover God’s calling on their lives.

Jenna and I count it an incredible honor to serve alongside this team. We see firsthand the sacrifices they make, the hours they invest, and the genuine love they have for this church family.

This Sunday, I want us to honor them well!

Here’s what I’m asking you to do:

1. Take a moment to encourage them personally.

Send a text, write a message, or give them a card. Let them know how their ministry has impacted your life or your family. Tell them you’re praying for them. You may never know how much a simple word of encouragement can mean to someone who spends their life encouraging others.

2. Come prepared to bless them generously.

This Sunday, we will receive a special Pastor Appreciation offering for our pastoral team. I’d love to see our church family bless these families in a significant way.

I’m asking everyone to do something. Whether your gift is large or small, let’s come together and make sure these leaders know how much they are loved and appreciated.

One more thing…

This Sunday is shaping up to be a powerful weekend, even if it’s a wet one!

Don’t let a little rain keep you away.

In fact, as the rain pours down outside, let’s believe for an even greater outpouring of the Spirit of God inside as we gather to worship!

I can’t wait to see you Sunday!
