New Series and Baptisms This Sunday!

Fall season has arrived (even if Florida hasn’t caught the memo yet). Pumpkin spice is on every menu, the mornings carry a slight hint of cool, football has kicked off, and I’m excited as we enter the last half of the year. 

Did you know that this is one of the easiest seasons to invite friends and family to church? It’s true. 8 out of 10 people will say “yes” if someone simply asks. So let’s extend an invitation, sit with them on Sunday, take them to lunch afterward, and watch what God does.

This Sunday, we will start a new series called “Hot Takes.” For the last several weeks, you have sent in real questions. These are the conversations your neighbors, friends, and coworkers are having. 

Here are a few you’ve sent in:

• Is marriage still worth fighting for?
• Does God have a divine design for both male and female?
• Is AI a great tool or a sign of the end times?
• If my addiction doesn’t hurt anyone, is it really a problem?
• Why should the church care about Israel?
• Should Christians ever “cancel” someone.
• Can grace go too far?
• Does politics belong in church?

We’re going to the Bible and asking, “What does Scripture say?” God’s wisdom is not outdated; it’s proven. When we trust His Word, we see the fruit of His ways. 

What topic are we tackling first? You’ll have to be in the room to find out! Bring someone with you. It’s going to be a great Sunday as we kick off this new season. Did I mention it’s also Baptism Sunday?!? There is still time to sign up if you’re ready to take the next step and make a public declaration of your faith!
