Membership Requirements
We ask all that are considering membership at Grace World Outreach Church review our member requirements prior to completing a membership application.
1. Profession of Faith
- The person must profess and evidence a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. This profession should reflect an outward testimony that is consistent with an inward awareness that you have been saved from the penalty of sin. That you have escaped the damnation of hell and are heaven bound. That your heart has been made clean by the shed blood of Jesus. That you believe Jesus lived, died and resurrected from the dead. And that you have now have eternal life and are ready at any moment should Jesus come.
2. Water Baptism
- The person following Christ must be obedient to His command to believe and be baptized. We believe that water baptism refers to being immersed in water.
Note: If you have not yet been water baptized, you should be in the process of doing so. membership cannot be finalized until you have taken this step.
3. Attendance
- The person must have faithfully attended Grace World Outreach Church for three months.
Note: If you have been attending for less than three months, that’s not a problem. However, your membership will not be made effective or finalized until you have met this requirement.
4. Generosity towards God
- The person must actively be taking steps to show how they are trusting God to be their source of provision. This is primarily demonstrated through the faithful giving of the tithe and offering.
Note: If you are a new believer and have not been tithing up to this point, don’t let that bother you. However, as you consider becoming a member, it will be an expectation that you are becoming more intentional about your giving. In fact, you will also discover that… becoming a member at Grace World is just the beginning of an exciting journey of growth!
5. Support the Lead Pastor’s Vision Fully
- support the Vision and ministries of the church.
6. Find ways to serve
- Serve in the church according to your gifting and abilities.
7. Avoid Gossip
- Not engaging in or entertaining gossip or unedifying conversation and follow God’s pattern for reconciliation with others by following Matthew 18
