Join Us in Supporting Convoy of Hope’s Response to the Storm

Dear Grace Family,

I want to take a moment to share how Convoy of Hope is actively responding to the devastation caused by Hurricane Helene, particularly in Florida’s Big Bend region, as well as the surrounding states. As we speak, Convoy of Hope is on the ground in Perry, Florida, where they have been distributing crucial relief supplies, such as water, groceries, and hygiene items, to over 1,500 families.

The storm has left many in need of help. One resident described the wind as “ferocious.” A family who received supplies from Convoy shared how their cinder block home shook under the storm’s 140 mph winds. “You know that weightless feeling you get in an elevator?” said Diane, a family member. “That’s what it felt like.”

The damage from Helene has extended far beyond Florida. In Georgia and the Carolinas, Convoy is mobilizing to bring relief where it’s needed most. They are sending additional loads of supplies today to places like Tampa Bay, Augusta, and Morganton. These supplies will help resource citywide distributions, support flood-affected areas like Asheville, and provide water to communities where critical infrastructure has been damaged.

Convoy of Hope is also working with partners in Tennessee to assess and respond to the needs in that area, as they prepare for a wider relief effort.

How Can We Help?

Right now, the best way we can respond is by giving. Convoy of Hope needs financial support to continue bringing hope and tangible help to these affected communities. Every dollar you give helps send relief supplies to families in desperate need of water, food, and shelter.

I encourage you to give generously as we partner with Convoy of Hope in making a difference during this critical time. You can donate through our church giving platform by selecting “Disaster Relief” as your designation, or by visiting convoyofhope.org directly.

Let’s be the hands and feet of Christ, responding to the needs of others in their moment of crisis.

Give now through Grace World Outreach Church.

Blessings,

Pastor Daniel
