It’s Time to Break Ground!

In 2020 when churches, businesses, and schools were shut down across the nation many were working feverishly to preserve the past, however, our team was dreaming into our future. 

We heard the Lord say to us, “Finish what was started. Finish for your future.“

Grace World has a rich history that expands over more than 80 years. Our church has been a blessing to Hernando County and the Nature Coast for many years and will continue to be for decades to come.

When the dome was built, there was a plan to finish our campus that never materialized. The Lord has blessed us with 15 1/2 acres of land and significant portions remain undeveloped. With this in mind, we prayerfully began to dream into what our finished campus would look like and created a master plan. In 2021, we presented this opportunity to our congregation. Collectively, we as a church, overwhelmingly said yes to moving forward.

Since that time we’ve been working with civil engineering, architects, contractors, the county, and the city government to get approval for the master plan. After more than two years of waiting for permitting, we now have the go-ahead to begin the expansion of our campus!

This Sunday, we will embark on the next chapter of our church history. Immediately following the service, join us in the courtyard for a short groundbreaking ceremony followed by light desserts in the FLC. This is a moment to celebrate and speak God’s blessings over our future as together we embark on this new journey. I want to encourage those who have made pledges to the campaign to participate on Sunday. I would also encourage those who have yet to hear the vision to come and see what God is doing and ask the Lord how you can be a part of finishing for our future.

I look forward to celebrating with you on Sunday as we conclude our series, “Beyond Blessed”. Truly, there is immeasurably more ahead, and in this year of Grace, also blessing upon blessing.
