Is It Straight?

Every builder uses a level.

Before the walls go up or the roof is framed, the wise builder stops and asks: “Is it straight?”

Every life, every marriage, every family has to have a standard. Something that keeps us aligned and strong.

Culture says to follow our feelings or find our own truth by what seems right. But a home built without a sure standard might look strong until the storm comes.

Thankfully, we have a standard. God’s word is our plumb line.

When we face a decision, a crisis, or even an ordinary Thursday, the first question isn’t, “What do I feel?” It should be, “What is God’s wisdom for this situation?”

Feelings are fickle, but the Word of God remains faithful. When we anchor our homes in Scripture, we build something that lasts.

But only if we turn to it.

This month, as we’ve focused on our Home Improvement series, our prayer has been that your home and family would be strong, healthy, and able to withstand the storms of life.

One of the most practical ways we can continue to invest in your home is through our upcoming Built to Last Marriage Conference on Saturday, February 28th. Registration is now open for this one-day event designed to strengthen, fortify, and align your home according to God’s blueprint. Children’s Ministry will be available for kids 0–5th grade, making it easier for your whole family to participate. This is more than a conference, it’s an investment in a future that’s truly built to last!

Let’s build homes and families that withstand the storms of life, because when the foundation is right, everything else can rise.

Believing for Revival,

Pastor Daniel
