“How God Makes Men”

Great men rarely arise during good times. It’s the trials, tests, and tribulations of chaotic times that produce the leaders we draw the greatest inspiration from. Why? Because tested leaders become trustworthy leaders. 

If it hasn’t been tested, it cannot be trusted!

Throughout scripture, we see a repeating pattern: when God’s people turn their back on Him, the nation plunges into chaos. In the midst of the crisis, the people cry out, and God raises up a courageous leader to turn the hearts of the children back to the Father.

Abraham learned to be a faith-filled father through decades of waiting for a son. Joseph became a leader through his experiences in slavery and prison. Moses was molded into a deliverer in the wilderness. David was shaped into a king after God’s own heart in caves.

God has an extraordinary way of turning what was meant for our destruction into the very tools that make us look more like Him. In these chaotic times, with new crises emerging every week, we must ask ourselves, “What kind of leaders is God forging at this moment in history?”

This Sunday we will begin a new series that will explore how God employs a unique process to create such leaders. Look forward to seeing you there.
