From Water to Oil

Sunday didn’t feel like just another service. It felt like a line was drawn.

Heaven touched earth, and something shifted.

If you were in the room, you know exactly what I mean—there was weight.

Chris Estrada spoke a word that didn’t just stir the room; it stamped something over this house:

“What this church has is generational fire. It feels like a torch has been passed, and everybody’s carrying their rightful place. This house is going from water to oil.”

Let that settle for a moment.

From water to oil.

There’s a difference.

Water is common. Oil is costly.

Water cools. Oil consecrates.

Water can wash you. Oil marks you.

And that’s what God is doing—marking this house. Not just refreshing it. Not just visiting it. He’s consecrating it.

“You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.” (Psalm 23:5)

There’s a fresh anointing being poured out, but only those willing to pay the price will carry it.

Chris gave us this charge:

“If you don’t mind paying a higher price…If you don’t mind letting go of a little more…If you don’t mind making room…What He does in you will last a lot longer.”

The question isn’t, “Do you want the oil?” The question is, “Are you willing to pay for it?”

So, let’s press in.

Let’s pray harder.

Let’s hunger deeper.

Let’s come with expectancy.

This Sunday, Joe Oden will be with us at 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

Grace Kids will also host Fire Nights during Sunday evening. Our children aren’t the church of tomorrow, they’re carriers of the fire today.

Revival isn’t coming. It’s here.

The question is, “Will we steward it?”

Believing for More,

Pastor

P.S. Be lifting up our Ascend students and leaders as they head into City Week. They’re not just serving our city. They’re invading it with love, power, and the gospel. This generation isn’t waiting for permission. They’re moving with fire!
