FREEDOM HAS A SOUND
“Proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants” (Leviticus 25:10, ESV).
This past Sunday, we declared that the Gospel has a sound, and it’s the sound of celebration, liberation, and declaration.
From the very beginning, God built rhythms of rejoicing into Israel’s story: feasts, sabbath years, and Jubilee, which was a year of rest, release, reclamation, and redemption. All of it pointed to Jesus, our true Jubilee.
In Christ, we are liberated from the captivity of sin and shame. Where He reigns, there are no chains! He brings peace to the spirit, healing to the body, and joy to the soul.
But the Good News must also be proclaimed. Just as the Emancipation Proclamation had to be announced across the land, so the finished work of the Cross must be declared to the world. Our silence can be someone else’s death sentence.
This week, let’s:
• Let go of yesterday
• Forgive every debt
• Expect a return
• Get ready for revival
Because this upcoming weekend is all about the Good News of revival!
Believing For Revival,
Pastor
