All Things New — Join Us for 21 Days of Prayer & Fasting
“Behold, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare.” – Isaiah 42:9
A new year is here, and with it, a fresh invitation from the Lord to believe Him for “All Things New.”
Before we step into new assignments, we must first pause and posture ourselves. That’s why I’m calling our entire church into 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, beginning this Sunday, January 4.
Why 21 Days?
This fast is modeled after the prophet Daniel, who for 21 days prayed, fasted, and waited on the Lord for understanding. What he received shaped the future. His example shows us what happens when we choose to lay aside what feeds the flesh and pursue what strengthens the spirit.
“We do not present our pleas before you because of our righteousness, but because of Your great mercy.” — Daniel 9:18
How to Choose Your Fast
Remember, this isn’t about performance, it’s about posture.
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach. Ask the Lord what obedience looks like for you. Here are some options to consider:
• Full Fast — Only liquids (for those with experience and physical readiness)
• Partial Fast — Replace one or two meals a day with prayer
• Sun-Up to Sun-Down Fast
• Daniel Fast — A plant-based, whole-food fast (Recommended)
• Soul Fast — Laying aside worldly distractions like entertainment, social media, or unnecessary noise
Jenna and I will be doing a Daniel Fast. Inspired by Daniel 1 and 10, this fast removes indulgence and distraction (no meat, dairy, sugar, caffeine, processed foods) and replaces them with simplicity, Scripture, and stillness.
“I ate no delicacies, no meat or wine… for the full three weeks.” — Daniel 10:3
What This Fast Is For
During these 21 days, we are fasting to:
• Humble ourselves before God
• Seek His wisdom and direction
• Sharpen our spiritual sensitivity
• Realign our priorities with His Kingdom
Each day, I encourage you to build a simple rhythm of prayer, devotion, and reflection. Make room for the Lord and watch Him fill that room.
To help you walk through this sacred season, we’ve written a 21-Day Devotional filled with Scripture, reflection, and daily prayer. It’s designed to guide you step by step as you draw near to God.
Printed devotional books will be available for free on campus while supplies last. If you prefer to have a copy mailed to you, it can be purchased on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/All-Things-New-Day-Devotional/dp/B0G3KPF34K/
You can follow along with the full devotional online at https://graceworldag.org/all-things-new-devotional
If you would like to receive daily devotional reminder texts, text the word “Devo” to (833) 213-1088 to subscribe.
You don’t need to impress God, you just need to seek Him. So start today. Quiet your soul. Clear the calendar. Ask the Holy Spirit, “What do You want to do in me over the next 21 days?”
Believing for Revival,
Pastor Daniel
PS – We will also start the year by beginning our Bible reading plan using the M’Cheyne One Year Reading Plan. It is also included in the 21-day devotional as well. You can find it on the Bible app here.
